Symposium and Workshop on Modelling Wheat Under Changing Environment: Model Intercomparison and Improvement.

The AgMIP Wheat Modelling Workshop was organised to bring together modellers to discuss and propose the structure of the newly formed Expert Working Group on Wheat Crop and Plant Modelling of the Wheat Initiative.
Andrew Millar (UEDIN) and Yin Hoon Chew (UEDIN) both participated at this workshop. Topics of discussion included recent advances in crop model inter-comparison and improvement to study the impact of climate change, and genetic options for improved heat tolerance in wheat.
